A posthumous video release! Will we have more? Maybe!
The official announcement: As of December 2012, Camp Woods is no more! We have split up amicably to pursue other comedic ventures in Philadelphia and beyond.
Be sure to check out our various other projects!
Check out Rob’s new sketches at Sketch Comedy by Rob Baniewicz. And check out Madonna’s other sketch group, ManiPedi, in Philly or on the road. And check out JP as the host of Now Time at L’etage and co-host of The Theme Show at PHIT. And check out Pat, Sam, Billy, and Rob starring in Fear Town, USA, a feature-length horror/comedy movie coming out in the fall. And check out Brendan on the podcast he co-hosts with Luke Giordano and Mike Weinstein, Remember Remember the Titans.
Thanks to everyone who came to our shows and supported us. You guys are tops. And thanks for those WitOut Awards, too!
Hey friends! Nominations for the 2013 WitOut Awards were announced last night, and we snagged five nods! We’re up for Best Sketch Group, Best Sketch (“Outlier” and “Mystery Science Andre 3000″), Best Regular Show (Camp Woods Plus), and Best Short-Run Show (The David Lynch Show with our pals Secret Pants).
Thanks to all who nominated us! Voting is open to the public through December 21, so go here and give us some votes please!
While we’re jackin’ ourselves off, might as well show you this: Hollywood comedian Aaron Hertzog, who lives in Los Angeles, included two of our sketches — “MSA3000″ and “Imposters” — in his Top 5 Sketches of 2012 list. Thanks, Big Time Comedy Man!
Another thing you should check out is this cool review of our Philly Sketchfest show back in November. Thanks to Nicole Finkbiner and Philly Weekly for the nice write-up!
ONE LAST THING: Last week, Secret Pants debuted their latest video, “Moon Bounce TV”. We were lucky enough to have bit parts in it, alongside our friends in ManiPedi as well as Marc Summers of Nickelodeon fame. It’s a super funny video that you should watch so go do that NOW.
